The next expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online is just around the corner and as always, a question arises again in the area: What about the MMORPG?
The Elder Scrolls Online, meanwhile, has received countless patches and extensions along with technical revisions over ten years. The ESO fans are still waiting for a feature: cross play between the platforms. The developers are already solved on this topic every year when a new expansion appears and that is no different in the run -up to the season of the worm cult.
Kinda Funny Games Once again felt Rich Lambert and Matt Firor from Zenimax online on the tooth and queried the latest status. After all, the long -awaited feature no longer seems completely excluded.
“We are working on a few technical changes that make it possible,” said Firor. “We know how important this is. We started working on this game in 2007 and did not even think of two platforms, let alone six or how many we now support. This is aware of it and we really want to implement it. We work on the necessary technology and will see whether we can do it.”
After all, thanks to Microsoft's new procedure, certain conditions should also be significantly easier to implement thanks to Microsoft's new approach to support non -company platforms. After the weak status of the Xbox consoles, Microsoft is increasing to make in-house titles (Bethesda/Zenimax belongs to Microsoft) on other platforms. ESO is already available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, but cross -platform game would make sense for an MMO of this size.
So it doesn't seem to be excluded that at some point we still enjoy the pleasure. When, that is still in the stars, because implementation seems anything but easy.
