Warframe celebrates its seventh birthday with free items
Digital Extremes has announced not only the annual gifts for Warframe's seventh birthday, but also a community competition: The next playable Warframe is designed by the fans themselves.
You can submit your Warframe themes in the official forum. The developer will pre-select the ten best entries. The Community Design Council will finally choose the winner. The finished warframe is then designed by artist Eorheit, while Faven creates an alternative helmet. Players can submit suggestions for the skills themselves.
The winner will then be flown together with Eorheit to Tennocon 2020, where they will create the new Warframe together.
Seventh birthday gifts
As with every Warframe birthday, you can get the latest reward by simply logging in. On the other hand, you can earn the gifts of recent years by completing a series of special and time-limited missions.
- Dex Raksata Armor: This year you can get the Dex Raksata Armor, consisting of shoulder pieces, chest armor and knee pads, by simply logging in.
- Dex Furis: Two submachine guns that you can use as a secondary weapon.
- Dex Dakra: Two swords for close combat.
- Dex Sybaris: An assault rifle with a high critical chance of being hit.
- Dex Nouchali Syandana: A cosmetic cape.
- Excalibur Dex Noggle: A statue that you can place in your orbiter.
- Excalibur Dex Skin: A new design for the Excalibur warframe.
- Liset Dex Skin: A skin for your landing craft.
Digital Extremes plans to make the individual rewards in addition to the Raksata armor available over the coming weekends until the end of March. Even if you already have weapons like the Furis and Dakra, you can play them again and get new weapon slots.
