A few days ago we told you that HBO had found the actress to play Sarah Miller, Joel’s daughter, on the adapted series from The Last of Us, and we assumed filming was imminent as the lead actor the role was assigned. It now seems that it was no exaggeration to speak of immediacy.

This golocated photo reveals the passage that The Last of Us series is filmed in Calgary, Canada. While it has already been suggested that HBO’s production won’t be content with following the game’s story, it can be deduced from th is photo shared by Gabriel Luna that filming is being done in the correct order at the moment of the adventure of the Game and that the team is currently filming what happens at the beginning of the famous Naughty Dog title.
A show for when?
As a reminder, the pilot episode of The Last of Us, which is sure to be shot in Calgary, will be directed by award-winning Russian filmmaker Kantemir Balagov. And as a reminder, The Last of Us series is the result of the collaboration between Craig Mazin, creator of the Chernobyl series, and Neil Druckmann, the director, screenwriter and producer of the games within the California studio.
At the time these lines are written, the series The Last of Us has not yet had an announced broadcast date. It is also not known whether negotiations with French broadcasters are already underway.
