EA Sports FC 25 is out now, and although it doesn’t officially launch until September 27, it’s already made its mark with the various additions and tweaks it makes to the established player-kicking formula. In fact, the game’s first title update was released just today, September 25.
Yes, pause the soundtrack for a second and come here, this update isn’t that huge, but there are still some changes that will hopefully help address the issues people are reporting early on, paving the way for more significant tweaks in future updates.

As you can see in the description of the FC 25 title update numero uno, now available for download on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as on PC, it has three features.
As far as Ultimate Team is concerned, the issues that have been fixed are as follows: “Players may get stuck on the target screen after switching shortcuts from the shop” and “Possible stability issues after penalty shootouts.”

Yes, it looks like someone repeatedly slapping you after seeing you miss the last penalty and stuffing the ball into their goal has an impact on the game. Another fix is intended to correct “several stability issues that may occur in match highlights and tournaments.”
While these are all good, there are a lot of players on Twitter and Reddit hoping that more fixes will come soon. Some people say they are still experiencing issues accessing the 10-hour free trial before the game launches, and EA says it’s working on the issue and has released a temporary solution, but it’s obviously not ideal.
Another issue cited was a “secondary press glitch” that seemed to cause people to “lock in speed and direction.” [their player is] When they hold down the RB or R1 button, they’ll hear a “running” sound, and while this is just a gameplay tweak, it’s unlikely to be fixed until EA starts dealing with issues like this (after everything settles down after the initial launch).
