At Aliexpress, new customers can order the Smart Ring Xiaomi SR08 as a “welcome greeting” for almost 18 dollars including shipping. We looked at the deal.

A final sale is currently underway at AliExpress. As a new customer, you can benefit from the so -called “welcome greeting”. If you order for the first time, there are thick discounts and free shipping. Among the offers is a smart ring that, according to various German sources, “should be the first of its kind”. The special feature: a built-in LED display.

Although the device is titled “Xiaomi SR08 Smart Ring”, the brand name is Mijia – a brand that belongs to the Xiaomi ecosystem. You have three colors and five sizes to choose from. You can also decide whether you want to buy the smart ring with or without a charging station.

Update 27. Januar 18.30h: The initially linked provider is apparently sold out shortly! Also look at another provider, the prices vary slightly. The Penny 3c Store at Aliexpress still has all the colors and sizes in stock, Also with the Topsmart Life Store and that Top-Handicraft Dropshipping-Store is still a wide range.

• Mit LED-Display

• IP68-certified (protection against water and dust)

• Measures heart rate and blood oxygen and monitors sleep

As a welcome offer, AliExpress sells the Smart Ring from almost 15 dollars in different colors without a charging box. With charging box, only black and gold are offered at a price of around 22 dollars. Note the other shops with inventory if this offer should be sold out, for example you will be at Penny 3C Store and At the Topsmart Life Store or that Top-Handicraft Dropshipping-Store Looking.

Deal-Tipp:

Similar offers can be found in our buying consultants for Aliexpress.

There is talk of two charging options on the product page: you can buy a variant with a charging box in which the ring is inserted and loaded. Alternatively, you save four dollars and have to charge the ring with a charging cable supplied, which is magnetically attached to the inside of the ring.

The choice of charging possibility may be particularly important, because the loading time is specified as only 30 minutes. The battery should hold three to four days in “normal fashion”. Both can make sense if you use the smart ring for sleep monitoring. It can then be loaded, for example while you are in the bathroom.

Thanks to IP68 certification, however, it should also be able to be worn in the bathroom. In addition to sleep monitoring, the measurement of heart rate and blood oxygen as well as various functions for sports and movement are called. Gesture control should also be on board, for example as a remote release for the mobile phone camera.

A highlight of the smart ring is said to be the LED display. There you can see the time, the pedometer, the heart rate and the blood oxygen – measurement data only if you have started a measurement. Often starting should only work via the app and you can then see the data directly on the cell phone.

The information about the Smart Ring, which we could find on various German sides and at Aliexpress, were not always clear. However, if the SR08 holds what it promises, you make an extremely good deal compared to similar smart rings. We ordered the ring and would be happy to report what we think of the product as soon as we could test it a little.
