Following “Transformers: Rise of the Beast,” the second film in the 2023 reboot of the live-action “Transformers” franchise, Paramount Pictures’ “Transformers: One” is almost ready and the next film, its first A trailer has finally been released.
While Transformers has never left the animated medium, Transformers will be the first animated film to hit theaters in the franchise in nearly 40 years, so expectations are understandably high. It seems designed to please the most die-hard fans who grew up with the original series in the 1980s, but at the same time it’s modern and youthful.

As far as we know, Transformers One won’t be tied (at least not directly) to Hasbro and Paramount’s ongoing live-action film projects, which include the just-announced Transformers and G.I. After an impressive “Space Trailer Launch” event, Transformers One has finally revealed its stylish visuals and comedic beats, but also its aesthetic. The beloved War/Fall of Cybertron game as well as some recent animated shows. Note that 2018’s Bumblebee prequel already gave us a cool cartoon look at Cybertron, but the entirety of Transformers One is said to take place on the legendary planet.
When the story begins, Optimus Prime and Megatron are no longer enemies but friends, and take the names Orion Parkes and D-16 respectively. Additionally, they haven’t learned how to transform into vehicles, so we’re following their character journeys with those of the other Transformers who appear.

The voice cast of “Transformers” is absolutely rich, including Chris Hemsworth as Orion Parks/Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry as D-16/Megatron, and Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1, Keegan-Michael Key as B-127/Bumblebee, Jon Hamm as Sentinel Prime, Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Trion, Steve Buscemi plays an undisclosed role – perhaps one of the alien villains?
Josh Cooley (“Toy Story 4”) is directing the animated prequel from a script by Andrew Barrell (“Ant-Man and the Wasp”) and Gabriel Ferrari (“No Way Out”) “)write. The soundtrack comes from Tom Holkenborg aka Junkie XL (Rebel Moon, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire).
