The PlayStation Plus Essential “free” games for August 2024 have been revealed. A stronger selection than last month? Here’s the lineup for the next few weeks.
It’s the little monthly ritual that we know by heart over time. Each month, Sony offers three “free” games to all PS Plus subscribers. A trio that is fundamentally eclectic, so there is something for all tastes. This month, the Japanese publisher has bet on fun and laughter with Borderlands 3 (perfect before the release of the film scheduled for August 7) and the successful title Among Us. Despite some big names in the table, this selection was far from unanimous. The PS Plus program for August 2024 was therefore expected at the turn and the Japanese publisher revealed the identity of the three games offered next month, the power will be with them.

Summer and holiday departures or not, Sony remains faithful to its usual communication plan. Always set like a clock, the Japanese manufacturer has unveiled the three new games that will be offered to all PS Plus subscribers in August 2024. Despite major licenses, the publisher had disappointed a little with its selection so far, certain titles worth less than five dollars, while others are already included in the Extra and Premium formulas. However, latecomers still have a few days to add Borderlands 3, Among Us and NHL 24 to their library be fore giving way to the “free” PS Plus games from August 2024. What will they be? LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga
The PS Plus for August 2024 is all about the Force, with LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga taking the lead role. Thanks to its great content, it is THE ultimate game for fans of the colorful brick brand and fans of the saga. It brings together all nine films, 100 vehicles, 23 planets and, above all, more than 300 playable characters. A particularly popular title that is equally well received by young and old.

Ender Lilien Quietus the Knight
It is the least known of these three free PS Plus games in August, but perhaps it is the one that could surprise you the most. This sophisticated 2D action RPG/Metroidvania with a touch of dark fantasy had a small success on the net when it was released in June 2021. In addition to its particularly successful aesthetics, this production was characterized by a particularly successful gameplay, quite rich and varied to innovate. We can highly recommend it to those who loved Hollow Knight.
