In a new article by Bloombergthe journalist Jason Schreier push thatThere will be no Call of Duty in 2023. According to his sources, it will take time patients until 2024.

In response to Jason Schreier’s article, an Activision spokesperson said:
We have several exciting premium and free-to-play experiences planned for this year, next, and beyond. All other information is incorrect. We look forward to sharing more details when the time is right.
If this rumor is confirmed, it could be the start of a big change within the company. In fact, from 2005 to now, players have been getting their yearly dose of Call of Duty. If some of them are happy with this situation, others are tired, including developers.
Already at the end of January, Jason Schreier revealed that various wealthy people had expressed the wish to stop publishing CoDs every year. He had hinted that such a shift would not happen until at least 2023, consistent with his recent history.
