Looks like it’s logged out Battlefield 2042Even years after release, this is unwise. After the release of Season 6, no one expected more seasons of the game in the future, but DICE clearly had other ideas.
The developers have announced that Battlefield 2042 will have a seventh season, even confirming that it will begin in March 2024.

The news is obviously quite surprising; 2024 will be Battlefield 2042’s third year, outside of the typical Battlefield support cycle. More interestingly, however, DICE said in the announcement that “massive” seasons will include maps – plural.
Every previous season of Battlefield 2042 has featured a new map, and where feasible, one or two reworks of the game’s launch maps. If we’re reading this correctly, that means season seven will introduce two or more.
It’s apparently unclear whether said map is entirely new or a remaster of an earlier game. Judging from the way DICE is teasing the season (calling it “packed with fresh content” and more), Season 7 doesn’t sound like a small, final installment.
So yeah, season 7 #battlefield 2042 will be in your hands in March! 🗓️
It’s going to be a huge season filled with tons of new content… including maps!

This is especially noteworthy since everyone thought season five would be the game’s last. Then the sixth season was released, and players also felt it That
Perhaps Battlefield 2042’s massive rise in popularity, breaking Steam’s all-time concurrent online records, and maintaining player interest even after the sale/free weekend helped make this decision.
It’s worth noting, however, that Battlefield 2042’s player count has declined, and is now back to the normal state before Season 6. As of this writing, Battlefield 5 is the most popular game in the series on Steam.
The holidays are coming, and Battlefield 2042 is hosting its own in-game event vacation agreement
