The nostalgia for the PS1 disappointed from the firmware 25.03-11.20.00 PS5
The PS5 firmware in April 2025 brings back the designs inspired by the PlayStation consoles for the interface of all PlayStation 5 models. You can go to system => look = look and sound and select the settings PS1, PS2, PS3 or PS4 to dress your machine. In this way, you can remain at various points for the previous consoles, including the PS5 reception menu, both visually and case. But the last update is not only happy and a little disappointment for some.
In the various networks such as X, Reddit or YouTube, some did not point out that the PS1 start screen with the legendary sound on PS5 was not available. And necessarily many people expected to have offered overall and not part of the topics as part of the 30 years of Playstation. ” But it is the boot PS1 that we particularly want »; “ Everyone wants the PS1 boot »; ” Sony, we literally only had one thing to do. Give us the starting noises PS1 ». For some of the players, this PS5.03-11.20.00 update is therefore incomplete and less interesting than on the 30th anniversary.
If Playstation has decided to bring the topics of his previous consoles back to PS5, this is thanks to the mobilization of fans. ” Due to the incredible greeting you have reserved for this initiative, we look forward to telling you that you can soon personalize the start screen of your PS5 with the designs of these four consoles! ». If you see some comments, the manufacturer can make it back … Are you disappointed on your side?
