In the new trailer “A Visit to Hyrule”, Nintendo shows for a full five minutes what crawls and flies in Hyrule and how you can move through the cute landscapes.
The trailer takes us on a journey through Hyrule and its various regions. The Gerudo Desert is full of secrets and is inhabited by the Gerudo warriors. But there are also fighting Zoras (river vs. lake) and hungry Gorons to see. The Dekus in the Phirone Swamps are munching on a snack that looks and tastes like cotton candy, but according to the text box, “comes from the back of a monster”.
We also get a detailed look at the quest system consisting of main and side quests and, above all, horseback riding, which requires one of the new mechanics.
With the echo ability, you create copies of things like beds, tasty carrots, stones or even animals, which you can then use in the world to overcome obstacles. For example, you can climb cliffs by jumping onto the conjured bed.
If an echo isn’t enough, Zelda also has the ability to unify. If she connects with an object using unison, it always moves parallel to Zelda. This means that large blocks can be cleared away or echoes can be carried as weapons by spiky enemies.

Conversely, Zelda can also be brought into line with a moving object and then follows it. This allows you to hang on to moving platforms, for example, or use enemies that can climb walls as a practical taxi.
Starting September 26th, you can finally explore Hyrule with the eponymous princess in Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, instead of with sword-wielding Link as usual.
