The legal series “The Lincoln Lawyer” started in May 2022 on the streaming service Netflix. Only a short time later, the streamer ordered a second season of the novel adaptation, which will be released in two halves in 2023.

Showrunner Ted Humphrey confirmed the renewal of “The Lincoln Lawyer” via Twitter in June 2022. The new episodes will appear in two parts. The first episodes are waiting for us on July 6, 2023, more to come on August 3, 2023.

The first trailer for The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 reveals the chaos Mickey is thrown into in the new episodes. He takes tons of cases from bankrupt homeowners. He gets particularly close to one person, his client Lisa. But as the trailer suggests, the woman may not be as harmless as she tries to make it out, given that she faces murder charges.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2: Storyline
The first season of “The Lincoln Lawyer” is based on the second book in the Mickey Haller book series. Season 2 is to adapt the 4th novel “The Fifth Witness”. In the book, Mickey Haller represents bankrupt homeowners.
However, the case of one of his clients turns out to be more complicated than initially thought. She is charged with murder. She is said to have killed the head of her bank. However, Micky is certain that client Lisa is innocent. When he takes her case, he is mugged and beaten up. That’s when Micky realizes how dangerous his opponent is.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2: Cast and Production
Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (“Goliath”) returns as Mickey Haller for Season 2 of “The Lincoln Lawyer.” In addition, there will probably also be a reunion with Neve Campbell (“House of Cards”) as Maggie McPherson, Becki Newton (“How I Met Your Mother”) as Lorna Crain, Jazz Raycole (“Jericho – The Stop”, “What’s Up, Dad?”) as Izzy and Angus Sampson as Cisco.
The Lincoln Lawyer is developed by Ted Humphrey, who serves as showrunner, executive producer and screenwriter. Dailyn Rodriguez (“Queen of the South”) will serve as co-showrunner in Season 2. Bestselling author Michael Connelly is executive producer and screenwriter on the series.
