Players have been waiting for it and Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 is finally available! And it’s actually as huge as Larian Studios announced!
It may be a grand swan song from Larian Studios to the masterful Baldur’s Gate 3, but Patch 7 is finally available, at least on PC. For the console and Mac versions, though, you’ll have to wait until next month. Either way, the cheery Belgian studio promised something big for this highly anticipated major update, and they clearly didn’t lie about the goods!
Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 is finally available to shake up the Forgotten Realms
Announced months ago, Baldur’s Gate 3 takes advantage of the start of the school year to finally welcome the long-awaited Patch 7. Like the other major GOTY 2023 updates, this one is packed with important new features. For players inclined to evil, we are particularly entitled to new, very dark ending sequences. Cooperative players receive significant improvements to be able to enjoy them in split screen. Finally, those who know the game inside and out will be able to take on new challenges in Honor difficulty, with legendary actions for the game’s bosses.
But what most raised expectations for this huge Patch 7 (a colossal 10GB weight) for Baldur’s Gate 3 is obviously the addition of tools to fully support mods. Larian Studios is offering the community the keys to the castle so they can transform their baby as they wish. Even if we can expect more minor updates, notably the addition of a photo mode, the studio is now looking to the future with two new games.
We certainly won’t have to wait long to see players completely transform Baldur’s Gate 3 thanks to full access to its resources. They can therefore give free rein to the wildest imaginations to fill the title with almost infinite content. Whether it’s new classes/races, spells, equipment or even stories, the sky’s the limit for the flagship Dungeons & Dragons C-RPG now. But we’ll see you next month when Patch 7 arrives on consoles and Mac, with the celebrations being the PC version’s sole prerogative for the moment.
