Eldon RingThe narrative is about decay, what happens when a lord’s death creates a power vacuum, and how tendencies affect the interpretation of events. But we are not here to discuss this.
Instead, it’s also worth mentioning the descriptions of items involved in modern FromSoftware games and their gameplay implications.
The studio’s work has always relied on this sparse style of storytelling, where most of the fun happens on the fringes. The deeper you dig, trying to connect the dots, the better your understanding of the state of the world and its inhabitants will be.
