Finally the series Sonic Prime can be explored a bit via an actual trailer (2 minutes), which will allow you to learn more about the story and learn more about the animation and character design. Obviously it looks very coherent and respectful in the blue hedgehog universe.

Of course, it remains to be seen whether the “Ultras” fans will find anything to complain about. But for now, the general consensus is that this series seems pretty exciting.
Right now we can see Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big, Rouge and of course this damn one Dr Robotnik. The whole clique seems to be there. Maybe we’ll have a chance to see Shadow in this Sonic series too?
