These days, 2D platformers are considered a niche genre. But once upon a time, lovingly designed and playfully sophisticated 16-bit titles represented the spearhead of digital entertainment. The Eternal Life of Goldman would like to build on those long-gone days – or at least remember them in a loving way. “Loving” because there is a lot of manual work in this game. All graphics in the platformer were hand-drawn. And the trailer above shows you what that means. The graphics are beautiful. And since it is unfortunately no longer a given these days, the development team at Weappy Studio emphasizes: No AI was used anywhere here! There is no specific release date for The Eternal Life of Goldman yet. You can already add the game to your wish list on Steam.
