The new Netflix releases for January 2024 full of surprises? When you read the list, you might actually be surprised. For once, there are no major programs known to everyone except at the series level. But let’s start with the films with the release of the new F Gary Gray (NWA Straight Outta Compton, Fast and Furious 8, Men in Black International…): In full swing. “The Widowmaker Effect,” starring Daniel Levy and Luke Evans, will also be one of the major Netflix releases for the platform in January 2024. We will follow the story of a writer who recently lost his husband and goes to Paris with his two best friends. Between secrets and hard-to-swallow reality, this road trip won’t be all rosy. Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona (The Orphanage, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom…) is back with The Snow Circle. A drama about the crash of Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 in 1972, in which 16 survivors managed to stay alive despite the magnitude of the disaster.
A really big series will be included in Netflix’s new additions next month: Griselda. The next project from the showrunner of Narcos and Narcos Mexico. The Narcos director will be behind the camera to bring to life the six episodes of this miniseries starring Sofia Vergara (Modern Family). The abstract? You still have the right to enter a Colombian cartel. “one of the most profitable in history”, directed by Griselda Blanco, played by Vergara. On the SVOD service it will be January 25, 2024.

Griselda, The Circle of Snows and In Full Flight aren’t the only Netflix additions in January 2024. There are names in the series that will appeal to you more. The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse – Part 1 (January 31)
“When a terrible prophecy strikes the peaceful land of Britain, a pure-hearted boy sets out on a journey of discovery and revenge.”. Four Knights of the Apocalypse is an adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki’s manga set in the Seven Deadly Sins universe. A major work that was discontinued in 2020 after 8 years of existence.
