One of the most anticipated games on Nintendo Switch in 2024 has just released a beautiful new trailer. Time for nostalgia.
This year is pretty busy with releases on the Nintendo Switch. We can already mention Princess Peach: Showtime! which was released on March 22nd, and it’s not over yet. On June 27th we can dive back into Luigi’s Mansion 2 in an HD version. But before that, another meeting is planned. And that will also be the case with the remake of Paper Mario: The Millennium Door. The latter also begins to accelerate the pace of its communication, with a trailer that sells us a beautiful epic. We look forward to being there.
A new trailer for one of the big releases on Nintendo Switch
Paper Mario: The Millennium Door was originally released on GameCube in 2004. It was one of the great classics of this console and offered us an original adventure in the world of this famous plumber that we all know. Last year, to everyone’s surprise, this game came back into the spotlight with a big announcement: more than 20 years after its birth, a remake is coming to Nintendo Switch. Suffice to say, the community was on fire, even if the title generally remained in the shadows afterward.
It still resurfaced during the MAR10 event dedicated to this oh-so-famous franchise. He then announced the release date, which is set for May 23rd. We will therefore have to be a little more patient. To make our wait easier, Nintendo has released a new trailer that tells us about the adventure that awaits us. No gameplay images this time, but a cutscene in the style of the game, so everything on paper. And we have to admit, it’s very pleasant to look at.
And why does Mario embark on an extraordinary quest? As the name of the game suggests, our hero and his friends go in search of a legendary treasure hidden behind… the Millennium Gate! Our epic begins in Port-Lacanaïe, where the plumber goes there to find Princess Peach. The problem is that she’s not there. Apparently she is missing and needs to be found. To do this, he must first get his hands on the Star Gems. If you want to know what happens next, it will be in a few months!
