People Can Fly will release the Outriders patch next week, which will significantly increase the legendary drop rate.
It’s worth noting that, just as the drop rate is increased by 100% across the board, according to Pioneer studio.
The legendary brackets will also be removed, which will allow the legend to drop at any level, because previously, certain items could only be dropped from enemies of certain levels or higher.
The legendary anti-duplication system will also be implemented, which means that if you already have an item in your inventory or stash, the duplicate item will be rolled, and the discarded item will be rolled again. The system does not guarantee that every drop is unique, but it will provide a second scroll to avoid duplication.
Scripted Boss loot will also be able to drop all non-professional specific legendary helmets. According to the developers, this change will improve the variety of items in the campaign.
The luck system will also be improved. If no legendary items are dropped in the endgame, players will no longer experience a long drought.
People Can Fly stated that the upcoming patch will also include changes and improvements to the back-end login system. The purpose of this is to shorten the login time, especially on Xbox.
This patch is currently being tested and is expected to be released early next week.
