The Ninja team seems to be an important year for the Japanese studio.
NinjasNioh, Dead or Alive, and many unmanned game developers revealed that the company is developing many unannounced games and will release them this year.
In 4Gamer’s major year-end interviews with well-known Japanese developers, Fumihiko Yasuda, long-term producer and game director of the Ninja team, confirmed that the studio is developing “several new games” and will announce them in 2021.
It is not clear whether they are brand new IPs, but the recent output of the Ninja team has inspired us to inspire this legendary developer to work on large scale work.
In recent years, the Ninja team has received praise from the Nioh series and received commercial praise. The team has transformed from a troubled project to a large franchise of the parent company Koei Tecmo. The studio is also responsible for “Marvel Ultimate League 3: Black Level”, “Fire Emblem Warriors” and “Hyrule Warriors”, although its fighting game department has not managed to put “Reaper” or “Alive” back on the map.
The next important moment for the Ninja team occurred in February, when the PC version of Nioh 2 was released, the PS5 remake of the same game, and a collection of these two Nioh games on Sony’s next-generation platform. The re-production/re-release will support frame rates up to 120fps and other visual upgrades.
