The rise of Gloomhaven since its launch in 2019 it has been meteoric. The enormous board game created by Isaac Childrens has even received an adaptation in the form of a video game, but now it’s the turn of one of the most popular formats that we can have on a table.
As pointed out from Dicebreakerthe publisher Cephalofair announced during PAX Unplugged 2022 that a crowdfunding campaign will be launched in April 2023. The purpose will be to finance an RPG board game based on the franchise, offering all possible tools to create our own stories in the world of fancy.

Combat will be based on the Gloomhaven card system.although Childres warns that there will be an option to “perform great feats outside of combat, allowing you to swing from chandelier, kick through walls, or even talk bad guys out of fighting.”
The possibilities when creating classes will be total, using the existing ones of Gloomhaven and those of the future sequel, Frosthaven. The best thing will be that there will be full compatibility with all the board games released to date by the brand, being able to use their elements to enrich the plot.
