You probably saw this weekend’s ArmA Reforged leak. Yesterday Bohemia Interactive confirmed the existence of the game and even announced ArmA 4.
After this weekend’s ArmA Reforger leaks, which we told you about here, Bohemia Interactive took the floor to make everything official. During its live stream yesterday, the studio revealed its plans for the ArmA series. We also take this opportunity to remind ourselves that since ArmA 3’s in 2013, the franchise is no longer entitled to an exit.
ArmA Reforger will therefore be a kind of appetizer designed to implement various key elements that will be implemented in the next game. The idea is therefore to be able to “test” new features before they are integrated into ArmA 4. Of course, the other big novelty is the arrival of the franchise on the console. The developers will therefore use Reforge to adapt the gameplay to the pads.
ArmA Reforger: The game is already available in Early Access
ArmA Reforger will immerse us in a new context. It is the Cold War that has been chosen, with events taking place in 1989. Players can therefore choose between the Soviet or American forces before fighting on a new terrain. Depart the Mediterranean island of Altis and welcome to Everon. This fictional pebble in the middle of the Atlantic will offer us 52 km² of playground, yes, we are still a long way from the 270 km² of the island of ArmA 3.

Arma Reforger is the first installment in the franchise made with the brand new graphics engine Enfusion Engine.
