The version of Gears of War 3 created for PS3 has been released.
Epic Games was studying the process of testing its Unreal Engine on Sony’s PS3, and one of the projects used for this purpose was Gears of War 3.
Of course, the Gears of War series is always unique to Xbox (and later PC). Although Epic has no intention of releasing Gears of War 3 on PS3, the developers are still doing a lot of work on this version, which was created almost 10 years ago.

Unfortunately, the build can only be played on the PS3 Developer Kit (Debug) because they have increased RAM compared to the consumer model. PixelButts pointed out that this build requires some work using the RPCS3 emulator, as it now only leads to the title screen.
The build leaked a few years ago and has been “swapping and exchanging hands between collectors” until PixelButts made it work. The footage of Gears of War 3 running on PS3 was actually leaked a year ago, when Epic had to clarify that this was the entire content of the engine test.
