This time it's the right one! The Harry Potter series finally formals a beautiful part of your casting, especially on the Hogwarts staff. Since the time that fans have been waiting for …
This is an announcement that the fans have been waiting for a long time. The future series Harry Potter Finally, produced by HBO begins to leave the shadows. And this time it is not an easy teaser or leak, it is concrete. Warner Bros. and HBO have just unveiled some of the official occupation. And the least we can say is that the selected names set the sound.
Renowned actors to embody Hogwarts Legends in the Harry Potter series
The big star of this announcement is of course John Lithgow (The crown, dexter, interstellar). The American actor, Multi-Reaches, will give his characteristics to the legendary Albus Dumbledore. A prestigious decision that shows that the series wants to surround itself with the best. At his side Janet McTeer (Ozark, Jessica Jones, the woman in black) will embody the strict but charismatic McGonagall teachers. Paapa Essedu (I can destroy you, the Lazarus project, men) will have the difficult task of playing Severus Rogue. A cult role that was necessarily tensioned.
Nick Frost (Shaun the dead, hot fuzz, Paul), known for his humor and his changed roles, will play Hagrid. A choice that fascinates as much as she calms how the actor has proven his talent in different registers. Finally Luke Thallon (The big one, you and me) Sera Quirrell et Paul Whitehouse (The fast show, Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing, body bride) will play Rusard, the grumpy guardian from Hogwarts. In short, the Harry Potter series lifts its veil.
A series that loyal to the books
This new Harry Potter will not be an easy remake of films. HBO promises a loyal adaptation to JK Rowling's novels. Details. More time to develop the characters. And the opportunity to discover elements that are sometimes missing in films. Every season should correspond to a book. Which hopes for a long series that is rich in content for fans.
The Harry Potter series is transferred exclusively to Max, the Warner Bros. Streaming platform. The goal is clear: touch both fans from the very beginning and seduce a new audience. The films remain available on the platform, but this series wants to continue. Explore the smallest corners of the world of magicians. A colossal project, which is broadcast by Francesca Gardiner to write and Mylod marked for the realization of several episodes. Everything under the supervision of JK Rowling himself. Some decisions inevitably divided into the casting, they had to expect it.
