High on pop and Japanese culture, the Japan Expo is finally back after two years of being closed due to the COVID pandemic. Here are the dates of the show and the first info.
This confirms that the Japan Expo will indeed take place in 2022, and the organizers have even announced the dates. The show in Villepinte will therefore take place from July 14th to 17th. Yes, the organizers have slightly postponed the dates of this major event, which traditionally took place in the first week of July. That said, these new dates shouldn’t mess up the schedules of fans thinking of going there.
Japan Expo 2022: The comeback
The show opens its doors from 10am to 6pm knowing that the return will be available from 9am for presales and from 8:30am for Zen ticket holders. This year, nearly 80 guests will come to walk the aisles of Japan Expo. Among others, we will be able to meet Brigitte Lecordier (the voice of Goku and many other anime heroes), who remains connected to the childhood of many gamers. At the gaming level, we are entitled to the presence of Horishi Matsuyama, CEO of CyberConnect2. The development studio is known for the Naruto Ultimate Ninja saga, for Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure or for Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.
This year, the CEO will be there to update us on the studio’s next game. This title, which will be self-published, is called Fuga, Melodies of Steel. The latter takes us into the world of Little Tail Bronx (Tail Concerto / Solatorobo: Red the Hunter). We are entitled to conferences as well as a stand dedicated to the studio.
music festival
Music is also honored with many artists and idols. So Japan Expo will welcome Kannagi Rabbits, Singing Cosplayer Hikari, Yuzu Natsumi or even Serikana. In addition, we should find everything that makes the Japan Expo charming with hundreds of stalls filled with goodies of all kinds. In addition, we should also find many cosplayers, the latter being deprived of the convention in recent years.
