The Sims 4 Crystal Creations Stuff Pack will let your Sims unleash their inner jeweler and mystic

EA and Maxis announce latest data pack The Sims 4you’ll craft jewelry under the moonlight and charge crystals to add different properties.

Crystal Creations was released on February 29th with gemological skills. Once you learn this skill, you can collect different crystals and metals to create jewelry and other pieces that can affect Sims’ moods, relationships, careers, and more.

You can collect crystals and cut them into beautiful shapes to display under the moonlight or charge them to discover unique properties. From designing an engagement ring or custom jewelry to creating unique collectibles, there are 1,000 ways to create jewelry items and sell them for Simoleons.

Once you’ve mastered the Gemology skill, your Sims can begin crafting at the Gemology Table. As your Sims’ skills improve, so will the quality of their creations. Available metals are silver, gold, rose gold, and 22 other metals from The Sims 4, such as Baconite, Death Metal, and Romantium. The stone is available in ten different cuts, including heart, plumb or dwarf.

As your Sims read the Gemology Skill Book and continue to craft crystal creations at the Gemology Table, they can improve their Gemology skills. Sims can then sell, collect, and give their creations to other Sims. Crystal Creations also takes advantage of the base game’s lunar cycle, meaning you can search for crystals on your Sims’ computers or pluck them from crystal trees. Once cut, jewelry and gemstones can be charged in the moonlight, with the crystal chosen determining the effect. Once charged, Sims will experience the effects of the crystal, positively or negatively affecting relationships, mood, and game progress. Just like in real life, some crystals will need to be recharged at some point, as the effects will diminish over time.

In the new item packs, there are currently 27 crystals in all item packs, with three new crystals being introduced: Amber, Jade, and Moonstone. You can find common, rare, and rare crystals in dig sites and rocks in any world or lot. You can also purchase rare crystals from a computer or gemological desk. Rare crystals can only be found in different worlds or growing on crystal trees.

To add to the fun, dress up your crystal hunting adventure in style with colorful crystal slippers, bejeweled leather boots and artisan apparel including button-down vests, shirts and puff-sleeved floral tops. You’ll also find a residence complete with velvet sofas, crystal-encrusted mirrors, and more.

In Create-A-Sim, you’ll find a set of jewelry including necklaces, rings, and earrings created by Simmer community creator Arethabee.

The Sims 4 Crystal Creations data pack requires The Sims 4 base game, which is available as a free download for PC via the EA app and for Mac via Origin, Epic Games Store, and Steam. There’s also PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
