Payday 3 wants to win back its community after the game’s failed launch. To save the furniture, the studio is implementing this long-awaited feature.
How can we forget the fiasco that accompanied the launch of Payday 3? Although it was released last year, it was a game that was particularly anticipated by the community, which was impatiently waiting for new heists. At the same time, 10 years have passed since the release of the second part, one would have expected that this wait would be worth it. Unfortunately, the release was disastrous due to the lack of communication surrounding this release and the hundreds of errors listed.
To fix all of this, Starbreeze studios had to implement several updates. However, one has to admit that they have solved some problems. Unfortunately that wasn’t enough. Steamdb traffic for Payday 3 is still very low. It’s even dangerously worrisome for the studio as of these last few days SteamDB has recorded a peak of just 413 peoplecompared to more than 28,000 for Payday 2. Still, the developers are working hard and continuing to make improvements, thanks for example to this new major update.
An important new patch for Payday 3
Payday 3 will soon receive a new update to improve the gaming experience and save the title. However, due to the small number of daily players, you shouldn’t be too demanding. This game mode should be tested f or the time being
«Currently we are at a crossroads between creating a standalone Quickplay v2 with filters, or its integration in one way or another on a Crime.Net type server that will be available later in the year,” we can continue reading official page. Please note that the studio is open to suggestions. So don’t hesitate to share your opinion.
The second planned addition is “Player Merge,” which will be directly linked to Quickplay mode. This feature creates connections between players. “The goal is to help players find like-minded robbers so they can commit more crimes together.e”. However, it is not yet clear how this system will work. It is obvious that Payday 3, despite its difficulties, is trying to build a community. We will now have to wait for the release date of this update currently, which is not yet known. Will this be enough to save the abandoned game when these new features were requested when the game was released seven months ago now? Nothing is less certain…
