Bungie has very big plans for Destiny 2. It already announced a long time ago that there are no plans to develop a sequel and that the current installment will extend for at least two or three more years. For now, the Eclipse expansion is just around the corner and brings with it so many changes that it could be considered a Destiny 3.
Everything we know and what is coming soon is only the tip of the iceberg. Bungie is already clear how will the fight end between The Witness, a great enemy for whom we have been preparing since the beginning of The Witch Queen
When the witness reveals his plan, I think people will see it the same way. This makes all the sense in the world, it goes back to the beginning, but it’s something you might not have come across knowing that information. We actually have a very clear and detailed idea of what success means for The Witness, and I guess I should say that we hope it never comes to that.

Going into the expansion, it was very helpful and exciting to have such a wide cast of characters to draw from and all these narrative threads that have developed over the seasons. It was like a big toy box where we wondered what we could fit into Eclipse and what stories and characters could support the main thread of what the Guardian is doing on Neptune.
The interview also revealed that Destiny 2: The Final Shape
The seasons of The Witch Queen have shown the union of various peoples in the face of the imminent threat, including the Cabal y Elykhni. On the other hand, Queen Mara Sov, Zavala, Rasputin, Saladino Forge (or Lord Saladin), Ikora Rey, El Cuervo (formerly Uldren Sov) and Osiris are prominent characters who could have a lot of prominence.
The threads of fate The Witness and his plans they are already woven. Will he achieve his goals? What will we lose along the way? Let’s remember that Los Renegados already broke our hearts with Cayde-6. We will start to find out for sure on February 28, which will be when the Eclipse expansion for Destiny 2 launches.
