As the games get bigger, the PS5’s SSD forces decisions. The slot through which you can install a Samsung NVMe WD_Black SN850 SSD, for example, is currently not activated.

A company spokesman replied to the reporter:
As previously announced, we are working on activating memory expansion for M.2 SSD for PlayStation 5. The timing was not disclosed and details will be announced later.
The PS5 was officially released in Europe on November 19th and is still experiencing supply issues.
