After the somewhat surprising announcement of Windows 11, we wanted to know from you whether you are already planning to switch to the new operating system or not. Over 80 percent of you are already sure.
Most want to change: Almost two thirds of all responses say “yes” to switching to Windows 11. Around 18 percent are against switching, while 17.1 percent are currently undecided.

On the other hand, it should not be forgotten that a switch to Windows 11 should be an obvious choice for many because support for Windows 10 will sooner or later expire. At the same time, it will again offer gamers a technology in the form of DirectStorage that is withheld from older Windows versions (at least at the time of release).
A lack of compatibility worries you little
The exact breakdown of the answers shows that around nine percent rule out a switch to Windows 11 due to a lack of compatibility. Almost seven percent generally do not agree with Windows 11, while less than three percent rely entirely on an operating system other than Windows.

Microsoft’s official PC Health Check itself has since been taken offline because it has probably caused too much uncertainty. A revised version should appear again closer to the release of Windows 11 at the end of 2021.
