Team Meat has just surprised us with the announcement of Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machinea new video game set in the Super Meat Boy universe that presents us with something totally different from what we are used to seeing in the franchise, because in this case it will be about a puzzle title It will feature more than a hundred different levels with their own traps and dangers.
The villain of the series is the protagonist this time with events that take place just after those of Super Meat Boy Forever. Dr. Fetus has obtained all the information he needed to create a clone of Meat Boy, but the DNA sample he has available to him is not perfect and that causes other rather strange clones to be made.
To eliminate them, he will use his Machiavellian machines to make mincemeat of them, although the main objective will be to match four of them of the same color to make them disappearr. In the presentation trailer you can see better what some of these phases will be like, in which there will be no shortage of saw blades, rockets and other deadly traps.
Ridiculon will take care of its soundtrack once again, with some melodies that will be new versions of the songs from Super Meat Boy Forever, while the date of its release remains up in the air for now. It is only known that it will arrive sometime this year and it will do so for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
