The Walking Dead Season 11B: Episode 9 brings you a bloody battle and Daryl shock!

After the winter break, The Walking Dead picks up where the AMC Series Part 1 finale left off in Episode 9 of Season 11. Maggie and company are fighting the battle against the Reapers, and Leah has taken command of the Reapers after sneakily murdering Pope and blaming it on Daryl.

The skirmish continues until Maggie’s group is finally able to kill one of the high-ranking Reapers, Carver. But before that, they negotiate a deal with Leah and the remaining two Reapers. They want to end the fight without further bloodshed and release Carver when the other Reapers are far enough away. But everything goes wrong.

Leah calls her sniper, Jensen, to kill Maggie. But Gabriel has already taken care of this one, so Leah’s group is clearly at a disadvantage. She agrees to leave Maggie and company alone. However, as they try to leave, Maggie shoots t he two Reapers dead, hitting Leah in the shoulder. However, Leah is still able to escape. But not before Daryl explains to her that he didn’t want it to end like this.

“The Walking Dead” returns for Season 11. In Part 2, Carol and Co. get to know the Commonwealth.

Maggie wants to check on Alden, who she left at the church. But in the meantime he has died and become a stray. She redeems him. Together with Daryl, Gabriel and Elijah they go back to Alexandria to provide their friends with the promised supplies.

Then they discover a large group of Commonwealth soldiers at the gates of Alexandria. But luckily Eugene is there, who mediates and says that the Commonwealth only wants to help. Lance, Governor Pamela Milton’s henchman, offers the Alexandrians that the Commonwealth can help rebuild or they can join the Commonwealth.

There is a six-month time jump. Maggie and Elijah stand atop the walls of Alexandria as Commonwealth soldiers once again stand at the gates. One of the soldiers steps forward and demands that Maggie open the gates. She replies, “It doesn’t have to be that way.” The Commonwealth soldier takes off his helmet and it turns out that Daryl Dixon is under the mask. “Yes. Yes, it must be so.”

So Daryl seems to have joined the Commonwealth. But maybe he’s just a spy again, like he was with the Reapers. We’ll probably find out in the next episode, which will be streamed on February 28, 2022 on Disney + and will be broadcast on ProSieben Fun.
