Ubisoft released the “Watchdog Legion” patch, which contains fixes for all platforms.
Some fixes in Gatekeepers Patches are global, but most are platform-specific.
Does not include a solution that a player has been thinking about for a while. This is a saving issue of Xbox series X/S.
However, the development team has determined the root cause and is working on other fixes for this specific issue.
Obviously, the saving problem is related to the automatic saving function. After closing and reopening, progress in the game will be lost.
Hope this will be resolved soon. In the meantime, please check the patch notes in today’s update below.
Watchdog Legion Patch 2.30
global
- Fixed an issue that allowed players to change game difficulty and game rules in the main menu.
- Fixed an issue where a black screen may appear when opening the door of a hidden room.
- Super game over: The following problem is solved: after the game is over in Permadeath mode, players will spawn without any role when starting a new game.
- Players can no longer open the ETO safe for unlimited times.
personal computer
- Fixed an issue where operators sometimes cannot use AMD GPUs.
- Fixed an issue where players may be stuck on saving after exiting the game.
- Fixed a possible crash when loading the team menu.
- Fixed a possible crash when using the list.
- Fixed an issue where lightning might be blown over during the day.
- Optimized loading time when exiting the main menu.
- Fixed a crash that may occur when the game automatically detects the input device.

- In order to save game space, further optimizations have been made to reduce the possibility of damage and lost progress.
Xbox (general)
- Arabic subtitles have been added to the English and Russian versions of the game.
- Fixed the problem that dubbing would sometimes be automatically muted.
Xbox One
- Fixed an issue that could cause a car accident when recruiting Albion defenders in the “Internal Albion” mission.
- Fixed a crash that may occur after playing for a long time.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when exiting the drone view during the “Into the Void” mission.
- In order to save game space, further optimizations have been made to reduce the possibility of damage and loss of progress.
Xbox Series X
- Fixed an issue where the game started in English when the console language was set to Arabic.
- Improved graphics in case of damage.
PlayStation 4
- Fixed a crash that may occur when exiting the game.
- Fixed a crash that sometimes occurred when generating new areas.
- In order to save game space, further optimizations have been made to reduce the possibility of damage and loss of progress.
PlayStation 5
- Fixed a crash that might sometimes occur when you resume the game from the main menu.
- Fix a crash that may occur when exiting the game.
- Fixed a black screen that may appear when performing the “Inside Albion” mission.

- Fixed an issue where lightning might be blown over during the day.
