Slowly but surely, more and more information about The Witcher: Blood Origin, the announced prequel series from Netflix, is seeping through. Now a well-known actress has been announced.
The Witcher and Netflix, that seems to be a good fit. After the success of the first season of The Witcher, many fans are eagerly awaiting the second season and the announced prequel series The Witcher: Blood Origin. The six-part series takes place 1,200 years before The Witcher and is intended to explain the origins of the Witcher, as well as the conjunction of spheres that led to the appearance of the monsters. Lauren S. Hissrich and Declan de Barra, both also responsible for The Witcher, are currently implementing the series.
Now a new actress has been confirmed and this is truly no stranger. Michelle Yeoh will take on the role of the sword elf, Scian, who is in search of a stolen holy sword. We already know Yeoh from several films, including Star Trek: Discovery and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. She will also star in the upcoming Marvel film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. As an additional performer, Laurence O’Fuarain is known as the warrior Fjall. Jodie Turner-Smith has meanwhile left for scheduling reasons.
