With Kristofer Hivju, who embodied the popular and iconic character Tormund in "Game of Thrones", a star of the highly acclaimed HBO series has already been confirmed – at least if you exclude the end – for the second season of The Witcher on Netflix. A few days ago, however, there were new rumors that a female star from "Game of Thrones" could now switch fantasy pages.
We're talking about Natalie Dormer, who was spotted near The Witcher: Season 2 set – after all, filming is already in full swing. It was also fitting that there was a snapshot showing Dormer with the horse on the side of a cast member. So is the actress known for her role as Margaery Tyrell now on board the Netflix fantasy epic?
While such signs seemed to be condensing, there is now a denial: Dormer is not part of the cast of The Witcher: Season 2. The actress's spokesman has now confirmed this to the online magazine Screen Rant. Why she was seen near the set is not known, but she will definitely not play a role in the next season of The Witcher.
The Witcher: Season 2 is set to launch on Netflix in 2021.
