Finally, Anna overcomes her numerous fears and especially her ombrophobia (fear of rain). And the main character of the sometimes serious, sometimes funny Netflix series also ends up reuniting with her ex-husband Douglas (Michael Ealy) and the couple have another child.

Wann startet die 2. Staffel von “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window”?
The Netflix streaming service has not yet officially confirmed the second season of “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window”. But that’s not unusual either, because Netflix usually waits the first 4 weeks after the release of a new series or series season and then makes a decision about the extension.
Series leading actress Kristen Bell (plays Anna) explained opposite Screenrantthat she does not yet know whether a second season will come. If this should be the case, it would last At least that raises some hopes for a sequel to the Netflix series.
If the premiere of the show on Netflix turns out to be a great success (which it looks like at the moment), then there should basically be nothing standing in the way of ordering new episodes. As soon as there is something to report here, you will of course find out about it from us on Netzwelt.
If The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window is renewed, the new episodes should hit the streaming service within about a year. Because that’s how long – or a few months longer – it usually takes for a Netflix series to return with new episodes.
Trailer und Bilder zu “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window” Staffel 2
At this time, neither a trailer nor first pictures of the 2nd season of “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window” have been released. As soon as there are news and publications here, we will of course inform you about them immediately.
Worum wird es in “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window” Staffel 2 gehen?
The pivotal murder case of The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window Season 1 has been concluded. You can find out everything about the murderess, her motivations and further developments from the premiere of the Netflix show here: “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window”: The shocking end of the Netflix series explained.
But after the clarification of the murder there is yes another corpse: When Anna boards a plane in the final scene of the Netflix series, a glamorous elderly lady (Glenn Close) is sitting next to her. She checks her hairstyle in her powder box. Meanwhile, Anna no longer drinks red wine. Instead, she downs vodka and keeps popping pills like they’re Smarties.
Anna falls asleep, wakes up again and finds the woman’s body in the airplane toilet. The alarmed Anna informs the cabin crew, but when she inspects the toilet again with a flight attendant, the body suddenly disappeared.
It is also explained to Anna that no woman has ever sat next to her.
But Anna finds the woman’s powder compact on the seat next to her. She says “bingo” because now she’s sure that all of this really happened.
Does season 2 of The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window pick up on this murder case?
Of course, this lends itself to a second season of the Netflix series. In this case, the flight crew would probably be involved in the murder in some way – otherwise why should Anna be told the obvious lie that nobody was sitting next to her?
Or will Anna stumble upon a whole new murder case in season 2?
But completely different continuations of the plot also seem possible here. In an interview with Screenrant, leading actress Kristen Bell mentions one possibility: Anna could either be constantly pursued by murders. That’s about the approach of such iconic crime series as Murder is Her Hobby, a series in which detective novelist Jessica Fletcher (Angela Lansbury) seems to constantly stumble into her next murder case.
Oder wird “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window” zur Anthologie-Serie?
As another possibility, “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window” leading actress Kristen Bell calls the anthology format. Literally she explains: “[Die Schauspieler] everybody come back but we are different characters.”
This approach for a second season of the Netflix series is reminiscent of “American Horror Story”, for example. The setting, the murder case, and possibly even the era and tone of Season 2 would then be very different. The actors would – as mentioned – slip into completely new roles, but would remain with the audience – and the recognition value would be great.
And last but not least, such a rather self-deprecating approach would also fit perfectly with the humorous tone of the Netflix series.
Produktion und Besetzung von “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window” Staffel 2
There is currently no official information on this either. However, it can be assumed that the main cast of Season 2 of “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window” will return – with a few exceptions, of course!
For example, the deceased characters will not be part of the game again – unless the series actually chooses the anthology format just mentioned. Then even Samsara Yett (plays little murderess Emma in season 1), Tom Riley (her father Neil) and Shelley Hennig (Lisa Maines/Chastity) could return.
Without the anthology twist, however, it can be assumed that leading actress Kristen Bell as Anna, Michael Ealy as Anna’s husband Douglas Whitaker, Mary Holland as Anna’s best friend Sloane and possibly Cameron Britton as the never-ending handyman Buell in season 2 with von will be of the party.
