The dress code for Heinz’s Fortnite map is clear: this is where the tomato skin comes from!
There is hardly a franchise with which Fortnite has not had a cooperation: Marvel, Star Wars, Witcher, John Wick – everything has happened. Now food manufacturers are also making it into the game: the ketchup manufacturer has its own own small map createdto educate about the deteriorating environmental conditions.
What’s on the map?

The new map, called SO,S, Tomatoes, is designed in the style of ketchup production: there are greenhouses where the young plants are grown and tomato fields where they can ultimately thrive.
There is no shooting here, instead you have to dodge storms and survive the phases that are coming faster and faster. If you want to take a look at the map, you can do so via the Explorer tab or with the following island code: 1877-1435-6432
Incidentally, this is not Heinz’s first video game crossover: there was already Caldera on the map in Warzone Snack Safe Zoneswhere you could comfortably satisfy your hunger.
Action to draw more attention to environmental issues
As sweet as ketchup is, the background of this crossover has a bitter reason: Heinz wants to draw attention to the deteriorating quality of fertile soil.
With the campaign, Heinz wants to protect an additional 13.5 million square meters of land. The company is also committed to ensuring that all tomatoes worldwide are grown 100% sustainably by 2025. The goal is to achieve net zero CO2 emissions by 2050.
What do you think of the crossover? A nice and playful idea to draw attention to environmental issues or is the campaign not serious enough for you? Write it to us in the comments!
