M'aiq knows many things
Even M'aiq's nickname indicates that he does not always take it so precisely with the truth. Behind it is a joke by the Elder Scrolls developer. M'aiq is named after Mike Lipari, who worked on Morrowind for Bethesda.
In an interview Chief developer Todd Howard explained many years ago that Lipari was one of the nicest and most hardest working people in the team, but was always caught lying. Therefore, he was immortalized in the game as the lie Khajiit.

In general, there are many questions and theories about the legendary Khajiit. Many players wonder whether M'aiq is the same person in all Elder-SCROLLS games.
