Ten new indie games are coming to Xbox Game Pass after a roller coaster of a non-E3 season. Each has a different release date, but with some of the more anticipated smaller titles announced now, it’s worth keeping an eye on them when they finally drop.
This information comes from the official Xbox Game Pass Twitter account, which Breaking news with a short game reel All new features. Their arrival is thanks in part to ID@Xbox, the company’s independent publishing arm that has brought hundreds of high-quality smaller titles to consoles and PC Game Pass over the years.
The ten games that lead to Game Pass are:
- Another Crab Treasure
- the galaxy
- Harold Halibut
- kitty, big city
- Fengzi Night Market
- neon white
- sea of stars
- Technology
- homeless village
- book walker
You may recognize some of them! Neon White is a tried and true first-person shooter because you can feel the narrative style. The wandering village is pretty cool too – been in Early Access for a while in the wild.
Some of these games haven’t been released yet, like Another Crab’s Treasure, but will be coming to Game Pass at launch. Either way, it’s a nice injection into the quality of service. While having a ton of blockbusters on Game Pass is obviously important, these smaller titles tend to find themselves in more hands because of the reach there.
