In the future, Amazon’s “The Rings of Power” series will not be the only production in the “Lord of the Rings” universe. Studio Warner Bros. has confirmed that they are working on new films and a whole film series that will tell untold stories of Middle-earth Age 3.
Specifically, the films will be dedicated to side stories from JRR Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” books, which have found little or no place or mention in Peter Jackson’s legendary trilogy. There are quite a few possible scenarios, even if we won’t see any major wars between the Elves and Morgoth in the first age. But we could delve even deeper into a Middle-earth that we already know.
