The launch of Disney + could not have been better. It already has millions of subscribers and everyone is wondering who or what Baby Yoda is that they talk about so much. Star Wars, Marvel or The Simpsons are the most attractive content for fans, but on the other side is Warner Bros. doing their thing with Cartoon Network. Along with Disney, it is the reference children's channel with a lot of variety of content. But we never thought to find a wink to One Piece in one of its series, which makes it clear that the writers of El mundo de Craig are fans of Eiichiro Oda's work.
If you don't know it, Craig's World is an animated series that is barely two years old. Follow the adventures of Craig, a boy who is fascinated by math, and his two friends. A priori it has nothing to do with One Piece and no manganime, but it is a series that has many popular references. For example, Craig's brother is a great strategy card player and in several chapters his hobby can be seen. Well now a fan of the series has found an ingenious reference to One Piece in one scene. It is a I take from a manga called Two Piece, a wink too obvious not to relate it.
As you can see, the cover has nothing to do with the manga and shows a young woman in a bikini hugging a shark. It is not the first time that Craig's world refers to One Piece, since a few months ago the Going Merry made an unexpected cameo in the Summer Wish chapter. Craig JP's friend wants to become a pirate captain, so they give him a miniature ship much like Luffy's ship.
