A highly anticipated Game of Thrones spin-off has officially announced its release window, but you’ll have to be patient because it’s not happening right away.
Game of Thrones has been over for a while now. Well, the ending didn’t necessarily live up to expectations, but we were able to compensate for the disappointment with a great spin-off: House of the Dragon. Plus, he’s not the only one planned. For example, there is one that tells us the story of Aegon I Targaryen’s conquest of Westeros. The other is Knights of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight
This Game of Thrones spin-off has a release window
At the moment we don’t know exactly where the development of this new series is located in the Game of Thrones universe. The latest news was that it would start filming in 2024, which is a good sign for the future. The problem is that we didn’t have much else to sink our teeth into. At least until today. Don’t expect a trailer, we’ll get an idea of when it will happen. And it’s not for tomorrow as it will arrive at the end of 2025.
Yes, but if filming still hasn’t started, that’s not really surprising. At the helm of this massive project are showrunner Ryan Condal and producers Martin and Ira Parker. Our three friends also worked on House of the Dragon, so we have no reason to worry. As for the story, it should – normally – adapt the short story The knight errant
In any case, between The Hedge Knight and the Aegon I Targaryen spin-off, we can say we’re spoiled. Of course we have to be patient, but when it’s as good as House of the Dragon, we’ll wait as long as it takes. In any case, the Game of Thrones series universe isn’t ready to give up, and that’s a real treat.
