However, you should bring a powerful PC with you. Ark may be a few years old, but the decent graphics in Unreal Engine 4 come at a price. If you want to experience Survival Evolved under optimal conditions, you should be ready to satisfy the hardware hunger of the survival game.

What’s next after Ark: Survival Evolved?
Part 2 is coming in 2023: Ark 2, the direct sequel to Survival Evolved, was announced at the Game Awards 2022. The sequel is basically the same as its predecessor, but this time actor Vin Diesel is in the role of the tribal chief Santiago. By the way, Diesel not only lends his face and voice to Ark 2, but is also directly involved in the production.
Ark 2 is coming to PC and consoles exclusively for the Xbox Series X/S. There is currently no exact release date, but it should be in 2023 at the latest. If you want to bridge the waiting time, take a look at our list of the currently best survival games:

TV series with a big cast of stars in the works: If you can’t get enough of Ark, you can also look forward to a suitable TV series. Two seasons are currently planned with a total of 14 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes. The story revolves around different people who have been picked from different eras of history to fight for survival in a futuristic world full of dinosaurs.
Actors involved in the Ark series include Vin Diesel, Russell Crowe, Gerard Butler, David Tennant, Elliot Page, Michelle Yeoh, Karl Urban, Malcolm McDowell and Jeffrey Wright. There is currently no exact release date or information about the platform on which Ark: The Animated Series will appear.
