Currently there are dozens of anime that stand out above others. The 20 most viewed anime series of 2020 show us an x-ray of what currently works, although there are animations like One Piece that do not fall off these lists despite the years. Others have taken longer to become anime, as in the case of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, which had to wait more than 20 years to release its animated series. Hirohiko Araki's acclaimed work has a peculiar way of telling the story divided into parts with different protagonists and one of the most beloved is Jotaro Kujo. But can you imagine how it would be drawn by Eiichiro Oda, creator of One Piece?
Without a doubt it would have changed everything because both anime have nothing to do. In fact, Araki was inspired by actor Clint Eastwood to make the design for Jotaro Kujo, protagonist of the third part of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. This character was drawn by Eiichiro Oda for his 25th anniversary and the result was incredible. One Piece author made his own version of the character quite faithful to the original showing his face and physical appearance with hardly any traces. Oda has a very unique style that is not reflected in this drawing, don't you think?
Other times we have seen other mangakas draw Oda characters. Without going any further, the latest issue of One Piece Magazine has published sketches of Zoro and other characters from the series drawn by the creator of My Hero Academia. This professional relationship is good news for anime fans because it could lead to different collaborations between them.
