The next Genshin Impact update is just around the corner, but ahead of its release, a new leak has given us some big revelations about it. There will be a lot to do.
Genshin Impact is one of the masters in the art of the free-to-play Gacha style. His success speaks for itself and has never lost its shine even after all these years. miHoYo, for its part, of course makes sure to regularly inflate the content. This is done by providing different and varied updates, for example adding new characters. What does the next update on this topic have in store for us? We’ve been in the dark so far, but a major leak has just given us some interesting information about her.
A new leak about the next Genshin Impact update
Update 4.6 has never been so close. It’s coming in April 2024 and promises to be huge. It will already allow us to discover the first member of the Executioners in the person of Arlecchino. We only had to wait two years, that’s fine. But what else does it have in store for us? To find out, you’ll have to look at recent leaks mentioning the arrival of new sub-regions. More specifically, we are told that there will be two: Petrichor Island and Bayda Harbor.
According to leakers, these two zones will bridge the gaps between the countries of Fontaine, Liyue and Sumeru. We currently do not have a detailed description of these places. However, thanks to users Uncle Dog and Uncle Bomb, we still know a little more about Petrichor Island. There we can visibly find a modest town and natural spaces such as a rocky mountain or small lakes. Of course, this should be taken with caution and it is better to wait for the studio’s official confirmation. In any case, we won’t know more, but the news about 4.6 doesn’t stop there.
This time we’re moving more into the realm of rumors. For some, the desert of the Sumeru region could be expanded. It is possible that Patch 4.6 will introduce new desert zones. If we rely on the images that have leaked on the Internet, we would be dealing with large underground structures, with altars and gigantic statues. All of this will be connected to Sumeru’s history. It’s exciting, but the same applies here: you shouldn’t take it literally. The Chinese studio’s plans could change, so be patient.
