When you hear Fallout these days, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the big role-playing games from Bethesda and Obsidian. But the post-apocalyptic RPG series started small as an isometric RPG at Black Isle Studios. Those days are long gone though – just not for developers New Blood Interactive.
The studio announced during the 2022 PC Gaming Show new isometrisches CRPG
an, which is aimed squarely at fans of the early Fallout games. For this, the team gets prominent reinforcements, even if a release is still a long way off.
By the way: Bethesda will create a new fallout in the future. However, you will have to wait a long time for that.

No title yet, but well-known names
The new role-playing game from New Blood, who previously worked on the shooter Dusk, currently has no name. At least for the public. Dave Oshry, CEO of the developer studio, didn’t want too much anyway dream game
reveal. That’s why there was only a small teaser during the PC Gaming Show, but it already shows where the journey should go:

The still unnamed role-playing game relies on retro-futurism and isometric camera work when it comes to scenarios. In the teaser, among other things, we see a character, possibly the protagonist of the game, standing on the street while a couple of NPCs are visible in front of him. From time to time, spaceship-like vehicles fly over his head.
There are no more details about the game so far. However sets New Blood on true Fallout experienceto implement the role play. For example, Adam Lacko, who is known for Project Van Buren, is involved in the development. This is the completion of a version of Fallout 3 that was originally intended to be developed by Black Isle Studios and not by Bethesda.

There is also support from Alexander Berezin, who was involved in the modification Fallout Sonora, and composer Mark Morgan. The latter is even directly connected to the first two Fallout games, because he is responsible for the soundtrack of the two role-playing classics. In recent years he has also worked on the Wasteland 2 and Wasteland 3 soundtracks.
No announcement, but a teaser
Dave Oshry does not yet call the presentation of the project an announcement. After all, it doesn’t even have a name right now. However, role-playing is a dream of his, Oshry said PC Gamerwhich is why the team decided to give a little insight now.
It will be some time before there is a real announcement with a name and maybe even a release date. Maybe then at the PC Gaming Show 2023, if it should take place again next year.
