What we know so far
The game world: In Outerra World Sandbox you should have the whole earth at your disposal. On the official website of the publisher Microprose it says that the game world using multiple data sources
terrain, roads, buildings, forests and rivers of the earth.
Whole cities are also mentioned in later paragraphs, but the screenshots so far only show landscape shots. If there’s a place on earth that’s on your bucket list, you can go there
according to the official description.
You can also fly around the world in Microsoft Flight Simulator. A major content update will be released in a few weeks:

A giant sandbox: Not only should you be able to visit every corner of the world, you should also be able to change your favorite places as you wish. It should not only be possible for you to change the terrain, but also your own structures
create yourself. It should even be possible for you to redesign entire cities.
Always on the move: How you explore the world is up to you. You can download trains, cars, boats or planes as assets and implement them in your game – if you can’t even build them yourself or at least convert them. At least that’s what the trailer suggests.
Community: You can then share your creations with other users via the Steam Workshop.
