News culture This semi-failed science fiction film by Christopher Nolan is coming to cinemas in the USA under the best conditions. And France?
Will the top stop spinning? Ha no, damn it, it’s not Nolan’s good film. However, TENET is returning to theaters.
The neurons are heated
In 2020, Christopher Nolan offered us another complex work with TENET. The film focuses on a CIA agent who investigates a certain Sator, an arms dealer. The latter has a significant advantage that would certainly make Sargon from Prince of Persia jealous: the manipulation of time. Thanks to machines that can reverse the entropy of objects, the big bad actually manages to control the flow of things in the other direction. Fortunately, our good hero, accompanied by Agent Neil, played by Robert Pattinson, will have the opportunity to also use this technology to thwart the antagonist’s plans.
As we said, the film is quite complicated to follow. Just take a look at our forums to see many posts titled “I didn’t understand anything about the movie TENET“. The characters move in one direction or another as if in a palindrome. These concepts are inspired by the mysterious antiquity that Sator Square represents. Despite fairly positive reviews, Nolan’s film left more than one viewer in the lurch. The film ultimately grossed $365 millionit’s more than its $200 million budget requirement, but less than the $400 million analysts estimate it needs to break even.
He returns, bigger than ever
In the United States, Christopher Nolan’s TENET will air in 70mm in Imax theaters for a week at the end of February. This new edition will be released on February 23rd and will coincide with the release of Dune: Part Two by Denis Villeneuve. TENET viewers also have the right to discover new excerpts from Dune: Part Two during the session. What about France? The Pathé group announced that he also plans to watch TENET again in Imax, from now on and for a short week.

“I saw this masterpiece in 2020 in one of the few counties in my state that had permission to open a movie theater. It’s worth seeing in Imax. Even if you saw it on streaming“, we read in the comments of the announcement video. “The opening scene of the opera alone is worth a second look at 70mm
