This Zelda and Dark Souls inspired game finds a release date

Inspired by The Legend of Zelda, Castlevania etc bloodborne, chase the night offers a unique twist on the Action RPG genre with a retro-style top-down adventure, dark fantasy storyline and challenging boss battles.

A new trailer and a release date

The intentions of studio Moonlight Games and publisher DANGEN Entertainment are clear. Their goal is to be inspired by the best without wanting to revolutionize their formulas. From the difficulty of some of the battles to the somber atmosphere and symphonic music, players should be on familiar territory. The inspiration from Castlevania

can also be seen in the new trailer (available below). This not only gives us a glimpse of what to expect, but also reveals the release date of chase the night on the PC! Starting April 13, gamers can play this love letter to 16-bit classics on Steam. For the time being, however, no release date has been communicated for the Switch, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the title.
