Have you also ridden through the world of Elden Ring or been involved in risky battles? Then you’ve probably heard the old-fashioned soundtrack. A Reddit user found out that the lyrics are actually nothing more than computer-generated nonsense. Fortunately, the gameplay looks completely different, which is why Rémy would not prefer Dark Souls 4:

The lyrics of the soundtrack have no deeper meaning with one exception:
During the research, the player found out that most of the songs don’t make any sense in terms of content and are definitely not Latin – with one exception. The song “Song of Lament” was written by a songwriter who only worked on this piece and is actually in Latin. In his video on YouTube, the Reddit user presents his results using Rykard’s song as an example:

Furthermore, he tries to following post to prove his claims as he appears to have messaged some musicians who worked on Elden Ring. One of them confirms that most of the lyrics are computer generated and have only been adapted to resemble ancient languages and fit the dark fantasy setting perfectly.
Of course, none of the statements were officially confirmed, which is why you should take this information with a pinch of salt as long as you don’t also have a perfect command of Latin. But what is certain is the high degree of difficulty of the survival mod, which you should definitely take a look at:
